I often have mood swings. I can be a very excitable personality and there have to be downs as well as ups. I have learned over time that the moods are cyclical and that helps as I remind myself that difficult days also pass.
I play guitar badly but playing takes my mind of any worries that I may have. I meditate regularly. Which often looks like me staring blankly out of the window for a while. I love walking. Its one of my favourite ways to clear my head of worries. I often do the same walk over and over. It encourages me to see it fresh and new every time. I have times where I am alone and I like it, but also have times when I need the company and laughter of good friends. I am learning to know which I need and to do something about it.
