Based in Liverpool

We are pleased to be expanding our team through the government Kickstart Scheme and are seeking to recruit a Social media and marketing project support officer.

The successful candidate will work alongside various sport & physical activity officers as well the business improvement function. Main responsibilities will include assisting in creation of design assets for use in a range of social media campaigns. Research and insight of engagement on MSP & MSF social media channels and accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook). Supporting in the development and implementation of newsletters to various stakeholders and for various projects across the network. Event support (incl. Social media). Research project for county wide holiday activity provision. Web page update support. Training will be provided in a small and passionate team about helping more people to become more active.

Essential Skills

Good interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal). Good knowledge and understanding of social media practices for business i.e. twitter boost, facebook paid ads etc… Experience in maintaining general administration systems - preferable but not essential. Some experience in web editing, graphic design and microsoft office. Ability to meet deadlines and willingness to follow instruction and learn new skills. Operate effectively as part of a team & independently. Show initiative and take personal responsibility.
