Based in Sheffield
The postholder will research labour market data, local and national policy on job creation, employment provision, skills and the future of work.
Training and support will be provided and the successful person will get exposure to ERSA’s extensive networks of a wide range of organisations nationally, all involved in helping people back to work, including the DWP. Initially this post will be home based with daily online calls with colleagues and when possible regular team meetings in Sheffield with occasional travel across the UK.
This post is suitable for a graduate in politics, public policy or planning. A degree is not however not essential but you must have an interest in labour market, research, exploring government policy and be able to demonstrate this at interview.
Organised, thorough, reliable, able to work confidentially.
Must able to read and write to a high level of English.
Able to work remotely and get to an office in Leeds as and when needed.
Able to work as part of a small team.
