Open Awards provides qualifications and accreditation for training courses nationally. We are an Awarding Body and an Access Validating Agency for Access to Higher Education Diplomas. We are also and End-point Assessment Organisation for Apprenticeship Standards.
The key responsibilities of the Administrator role will be to provide business administration support to ensure the smooth running of Open Awards operations, working with Open Awards staff to ensure administrative systems and procedures are up to date and accurate and meet the needs of our customers and regulators.
Working within the Customer Service/Operations Team the role will include supporting the team to deal with incoming enquiries either via email or telephone and directing them to the most appropriate person.
Support the Open Awards teams by performing regular checks, running reports to ensure the database and portal contain accurate information and work with the relevant teams to ensure accuracy and currency is maintained.
The duties will also include providing support to print, post, scan and record paper-based assessments.
General Responsibilities include working with members of the Open Awards team to ensure service standards are met and supporting the various teams in the day to day administrative functions of Open Awards. Maintaining up to date records in the Open Awards database and network drives in accordance with policies and procedures is an important element of the role.
Open Awards are currently working remotely due to Covid19 but are aiming for a phased return and you may be required to work from the office in the interim as required.
